What is the Founding 100?
The Founding 100 Program invites the first 100 eligible and verified Black-owned businesses in South Carolina to join The Black Palmetto during the launch phase. It is a founding visibility partnership, not a discount — your participation helps shape the platform and bring it to the wider community.

Participation Requirements
- Black-owned, Black-led, or majority Black-owned
- Based in South Carolina or serves South Carolina customers
- Complete a full business profile
- Submit verification information
- Upload brand-safe business photos or media
- Share The Black Palmetto on at least two social media platforms
- Tag The Black Palmetto when sharing
- Provide feedback during the first 90 days

What Happens After You Apply
- 1We review your application within a few business days.
- 2If accepted, you'll receive an acceptance email with your founding number and next steps.
- 3You'll complete your profile, upload approved photos, and submit verification.
- 4You'll share The Black Palmetto on at least two platforms and submit social proof links.
- 5You'll get featured launch visibility and the Founding Business badge.
